It was convenient. I'm actually a local who lives across the Verrazano Narrows Bridge from the hotel in nearby Staten Island but I was having a medical procedure in Bay Ridge, very close to the hotel in the early AM and was anxious about being close by and early and ready for my appointment without worrying about public transportation or traffic. So it served my needs.
